Now that you have booked your holiday (at a substantial discount!) you are free to relax and wait for your holiday. Voucher Codes Pro have taken the time and effort to find our customers the best offers on First Choice Holidays, so that you don’t have to! We enjoy pairing customers with companies which are trustworthy and offer quality products as these are values which are important to us. Furthermore, we have chosen First Choice Holidays because of their brand reputation (read our short introduction to the company, below.
The company now known as First Choice Holidays, was incorporated in 1973, however they were initially known as ‘Owners Abroad.’ The company decided to list itself on the Stock Exchange in 1982. During 1987, the company decided to establish their own airline which they named ‘Air 2000’ which initially only flew from Manchester to Malaga. This changed to ‘First Choice Airways’ in 2004.
Deciding that they wanted to extend their operations (and having grown large enough to do so), Owners Abroad acquired a company called ‘Redwing’ in 1990, and in 1994, they changed their name to the now-famous ‘First Choice.’ The company enjoyed numerous years of successful trading when they merged with TUI AG in 2007. Just one year later, the company decided to change the airline company to ‘Thomson Airways’ and in 2011, the ‘First Choice’ brand was used for holidays only.
First Choice Holidays provides many fantastic opportunities for holiday-seekers, all year round. At the time of writing (May 2017), these are some of our picks of the top trips on offer.
Le Morne is based in Mauritius and is home to some of the world’s most relaxing and stunning beaches. Words cannot express how relaxing and picturesque the beautiful Le Morne landscape is, and one can while away their whole life on the tropical shores of Le Morne.
Aside from the beaches, Le Morne has some interesting shops within the ‘Black River’ area. This is a great place to stock up on beach wear, surfing equipment, contemporary art, and even wine! Speaking of alcohol, there is also a good dose of nightlife in Le Morne, with bars selling cocktails. You might even be lucky enough to observe the Mauritian’s performing Sega dancing.
Whilst in Le Morne we think it is almost mandatory to try their gorgeous Creole dishes – bringing a awide range of cultural influences together in some flavoursome meals produced with complex sauces and cooked almost as slowly as the days that pass.
There are too many gorgeous places to talk about in Thailand, each one giving visitors a completely unique holiday experience. From the hustle and bustle of Bangkok’s busy streets, to the calm shores of Khao Lak, there is something to suit every taste. We love Thailand because it makes it easy to enjoy both the busy city culture of this incredible nature, with the relaxing white-sand beaches.
When relaxing, Phuket and Khao Lak are both desirable locations. Phuket has its range of restaurants, bars and live music, as well as 40 kilometres of coastline which produces some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. People travel to Phuket for diving and also parties – it is a good place to go to mix the two.
To get away from parties and Thailand’s wilder side - Khao Lak is one of the quietest yet most spectacular locations in Thailand. It has 3 national parks, and a vast array of cliffs, waterfalls and tropical forests. If this sounds too energetic, you could simply choose to sunbathe on the glorious Khao Lak beaches.
