About Sweaty Betty

Sweaty Betty is a UK, multi-award winning retailer founded in 1998 by Tamara and Simon Hill-Norton. Their purpose of this brand was to ‘inspire women through the empowerment of fitness.’ They feel that if you’re healthy and fit then you’ll be happy, and will lead a fantastic vigorous lifestyle.

A matter of years later their purpose of the business was recognisable and they won the ‘Sports Retailer of the year.’

In 2006 they had their first concession store within the reputable and dream store Selfridges & Co, followed by being featured in Harrods the next year. Their ten year anniversary saw a refurbishment on the site with a brand new look, and they won ‘Best retail interior award.’

The awards didn’t stop there though as Sweaty Betty was shortlisted for the global fashion awards and won them. 2012 saw the launch of the US website with them delivering to the other side of the pond with plenty of demand for their products.

The brand sells clothing and accessories, in addition to specialised equipment along with other much-loved brands such as Nike, Asics and Fitflop. Every sport which you can think of they sell, for example dance, spin, yoga, swimming, running, work out just to name a few.

Today they have 32 boutiques throughout the UK and a USA and UK website. They aim to open boutiques this year in America.
