How to: Autumn glam make-up

Last Updated : 15 October 2019

Our latest make-up look is great for these autumn nights, we’ve getting back into the glam season now and we’re prepping our make-up box with darker eyeshadows and lip shades in preparation!

For this look you will need:

Foundation and 3 shades darker foundation

Foundation brush or sponge

Blender brush

Eyeshadow brush

Big blush brush

Highlighter

Finishing powder (translucent)

Eyebrow pomade or eyeshadow to match natural brow shade

Liquid eyeliner and kohl eyeliner

Individual lashes

Blusher – pink

Bronzer

Lip liner

Pinky/red lipstick

First, cover your face with a foundation base. Use a primer beforehand if you want the look to last longer. Use your dark shade of foundation and a small brush to contour the face as shown. Then use a highlight on the areas of the face where the light naturally hits and then blend. Use a powder to complete the base.

Use your eyebrow pomade or eyeshadow to fill in the natural shape of your brows. Use a light neutral tone as a base over the whole eyelid. Use a darker tone in the crease of the eyelid and along the lash line. Use a black eyeliner to line the top lashes and bring this line out from the eye slightly to create a wing.

Use a darker tone like a dark grey to blend the crease colour to the outer edge of the lash line. Use this shade to define the lower lash line. Now add individual fake lashes to the upper lashline to create volume. (Tip: Wait a couple of seconds for the glue to go tacky before you attach to your eye.)

Use a kohl liner pencil to line the lower lash line, and use a blending brush to blend this in. No add a coat of mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.

Grab your biggest blush brush and lightly sweep a pink blush over the apples of the cheeks. Then use the same brush for your bronzer and lightly sweep over each side of the face in a ‘3’ shape.

Grab a pink lip liner and line the outside of the lips, then use a pinky-red lipstick to fill the lips. Finally finish with a spritz of setting spray to keep the make-up in place!
