Disneyland Paris has been making magical memories for children, adults and families alike, since opening its doors in 1992. Situated just 20 miles east of the centre of the French capital, Disneyland Paris has established itself as the most visited theme park in Europe.
This entertainment resort has been attracting guests from all over the world, with over 15 million visitors each year travelling to enjoy what the park has to offer. The huge resort covers 4,800 acres of land in the town of Marne-la-Vallée, bringing all of Walt Disney’s famous characters and creations together in one place.
Guests can expect a whole host of different activities and locations to explore during their stay. The resort is home to two theme parks, several hotels, a shopping mall which includes several themed dining experiences and entertainment complexes. There’s even a golf course for those hungry to knock a few balls during their stay.
The Disneyland theme park is based on the magical kingdom, well known for its iconic castle. Thrill seekers can get their kicks from riding the numerous rollercoasters and white-knuckle attractions laced throughout the park. Highlights include Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, the inspiration for the hugely successful film franchise!
Disneyland Paris guests will be staying in one of the several fantastic on-site hotels or in one of the associated hotels just outside the park. Each hotel follows its own theme, creating an exciting environment for all ages. The five star Disneyland Hotel follows an American-Victorian theme, while the Disney Hotel Cheyenne is based on the American Old West.
The whole Disneyland resort is full of that classic ‘Disney magic’ the whole family have grown up to love. There’s a daily parade of Disney’s famous cast of characters throughout the park, bringing smiles, laughter and spectacle to everybody’s face. Have the kids ever wanted to meet Woody and Buzz from Toy Story? No problem! Just say hi to them if you spot them walking around the grounds.
With a large number of fantastic themed restaurants and evening entertainment on offer, the whole family will have a holiday they’ll never forget. Take some of the magic home and make sure you pick up some of the amazing souvenirs. Whatever you do, you’ll have a great time at Disneyland Paris.
